A concept born from a dream of belonging, that quickly grew to being distributed in over 400 retail locations across the world.

The Problem

Goddex started with a dream and a vision to fill a gap in the market. I wanted to create a home decor brand that not only brought affordable pieces of art into people’s homes but also represented a community that is often overlooked. Over the years, the brand has grown into something more than I imagined—empowering individuals to express their unique style while feeling a sense of belonging. Through thoughtful design and community-driven values, Goddex has become a symbol of inclusion and creativity, reaching homes across the globe.

Research

Through strategic online engagement and community-driven marketing, I expanded our reach by 75% within the first two years of business. At trade shows, I forged key partnerships with brands and institutions, including Good Morning America, where we produced 200,000 handcrafted bath bombs in just one month. With a small but efficient team of three, we accomplished this challenging task ahead of schedule, thanks to effective management and task delegation. Throughout, we upheld the aesthetic and quality that our customers had come to expect from us.
After four years of creating content, designing products, leading campaigns, and maintaining manufacturing standards for Goddex, I made the decision to step away. In the spring of 2024, I sold the company, proud of the impact it made and the community it served. Now, I’m ready to move forward and focus more on my passion for design and aesthetics, bringing my creative vision to new and exciting ventures. Throughout this journey, I learned invaluable lessons about running a business—balancing creativity with strategy and adapting to the market’s needs. I also gained a deep appreciation for the power of user feedback, which guided the evolution of our products, ensuring that every piece resonated with our customers and reflected their desires and stories.
